Even in unpredictable times, there are things you can count on. For my eighteenth year in a row, here I am to say: iPhone Backup Extractor fully supports the incoming Apple software updates: iOS 26 and iPadOS 26.
A number of users have reached out to say our guidance on downgrading a backup’s iOS version to support rollback to a downgraded phone still works for transitioning from iOS 26 down to 18. We’re proud to have stayed on top of iOS so long, and we don’t plan to stop.
