If you run into any problems, please reach out to us at support@reincubate.com. We'd love to help and hear from you.

  • Feature We've added Smart Zoom, which lets you take advantage of your iPhone's 4K sensors regardless of which resolution you're using. Camo now avoids using digital zoom wherever possible, and instead rely on a higher resolution source image from the camera’s sensor, mimicking lossless optical zoom. Smart Zoom can be enabled in Camo Studio’s Advanced menu.
  • Feature Virtual rotation gives you the ability to choose between landscape and portrait video without having to physically rotate your phone. This makes use of the "Smart Zoom" feature to ensure the video is perfectly crisp.
  • Feature We’ve added the option to run Camo Studio with high GPU priority, this will significantly improve Camo’s performance when doing graphically intensive tasks on your PC, such as gaming and streaming. To use this new feature select "Enable High GPU Priority” from the Advanced menu.
  • Feature Camo's new image stabilisation functionality minimises the effect of vibrations and other disturbances on the image, great for desk mounted devices, wobbly mounts, or heavy-handed typists.
  • Feature We've added a vibrancy control, which gives you a way to boost or dampen duller colours in a way that’s less heavy-handed and artificial than using the saturation control.
  • Feature We've added the ability to export Camo Studio's logs, using the "Export logs" option in the "Advanced" menu.
  • Feature We've made a change to how Camo Studio's video preview is handled, which will lead to performance improvements when using Camo Studio with hardware acceleration turned off.
  • Improvement The brightness control has now been completely re-worked to give you finer grained control and make you look less washed out when increasing brightness.

Windows · 1 feature 6 improvements 4 fixes

Camo Studio for Windows is now in public beta! This is our tenth beta update, and it's now freely available to anyone from the Camo landing page. Not only that, but we've included a bumper set of changes.

  • Feature We've added support for screen readers, making Camo substantially more accessible. We've a little more to do here, and feedback is appreciated.
  • Improvement We've rebuilt the mechanism we use to handle updates of the app, and now show what's new with each update.
  • Improvement We've added an "Update" popup to remind users to update Studio if they connect a device running a newer version of Camo.
  • Improvement We now support downgrades of Camo Studio. Helpful for testers, this is!
  • Improvement Clicking on disabled features will now prompt users to activate their license.
  • Improvement The taskbar icon now changes colour based on whether you're in dark mode. And it's now visible on Windows 7!
  • Improvement We've made a number of graphical tweaks to tidy things up, in the app and in the installer.
  • Fix We've resolved a problem caused when two devices were connected at the same time.
  • Fix We've resolved a crash when selecting items from drop-downs using the keyboard.
  • Fix We've resolved a problem whereby the "Connect a device running Camo" overlay could get corrupted in portrait orientation.
  • Fix We changed plenty of things behind the scenes for speed, reliability, and robustness.
