After many years of service, we’re retiring BlackBerry Backup Extractor and DMG Extractor as we focus on building new experiences for our users.

Even in unpredictable times, there are things you can count on. For my eighteenth year in a row, here I am to say: iPhone Backup Extractor fully supports the incoming Apple software updates: iOS 26 and iPadOS 26.

Developing an app can be about innovation, but there are also its comforting rhythms. It's the end of July – time to announce that iOS 18 and iPadOS18 will be out soon, and that iPhone Backup Extractor fully supports them both.

Now's my time to write what I've written every year for the last 12 years: iPhone Backup Extractor is compatible with the first beta versions of the new iOS. We shipped iPhone Backup Extractor 7.7.27 last week, adding support for the changes Apple have made to Messages. It's also fully compatible with macOS 11.

We're pleased to announce the launch of Reincubate Lookup for iOS and iPadOS. As of today, it's available as a free app in the App Store.
