Как удалить или восстановить забытый код-пароль «Экранного времени»

В ходе этой процедуры «Экранное время» будет отключено на устройстве iOS (и, по желанию, на всех остальных устройствах iOS и компьютерах Mac с тем же Apple ID). Пароль также будет сброшен, поэтому при повторном включении «Экранного времени» вам предложат задать новый код-пароль.

На снимках экрана показан процесс для iOS 14, но шаги с 1 по 3 запускают подходящий процесс и для любой более ранней версии iOS.

Скачайте и установите iPhone Backup Extractor (работает в Windows и на Mac), затем откройте программу.
Подключите iPhone или iPad кабелем USB и выберите его в левом меню iPhone Backup Extractor.
Откройте вкладку «Utilities» и нажмите «Screen Time recovery». Откроется мастер, который подскажет дальнейшие шаги.

Мастер предложит временно отключить на iPhone сервис Apple «Локатор» в разделе Settings → [iCloud account name] → Find My → Find my iPhone. Для этого понадобится пароль Apple ID. После завершения процесса вы сможете включить его снова. (Обратите внимание: удалять устройство из учётной записи iCloud не нужно.)

Мастер удаления «Экранного времени» для iOS 14

Нажмите кнопку «Let’s start». Через некоторое время телефон перезагрузится, и после этого код-пароль «Экранного времени» на нём будет отключён.

Ниже показано видео, на котором телефон завершает перезагрузку. При перезагрузке «Экранное время» отключается и на Mac.

На этом всё. Не забудьте снова включить «Локатор» в меню «Настройки» вашего устройства.

Как удалить код-пароль «Экранного времени» с помощью Apple ID

На некоторых устройствах с iOS 13.3 при включении «Экранного времени» предлагается указать Apple ID, чтобы в случае утери можно было автоматически восстановить код-пароль. iOS показывает сообщение: «Если не указать Apple ID, изменить настройки «Экранного времени» без ввода код-пароля будет невозможно».

Если этот параметр был использован при задании код-пароля «Экранного времени», он будет доступен пользователям, забывшим код-пароль. Запрос появится, когда пользователь решит отключить «Экранное время» через Settings → Screen Time → Turn Off Screen Time или Settings → Screen Time → Change Screen Time Passcode → Turn Off Screen Time Passcode.

Как вручную удалить код-пароль «Экранного времени» в iOS 14 или 13

Восстановление из резервной копии сработает, только если копия была создана до установки код-пароля «Экранного времени» и если в настройках «Экранного времени» не были включены «Семейный доступ» и «Учёт на всех устройствах». Если вы не уверены, рекомендуем использовать описанный выше автоматический способ: ему не нужна заранее созданная резервная копия.

На удаление кода этим способом может повлиять ряд факторов, из-за которых код может вернуться из iCloud:

статус «Семейного доступа» в учётной записи iCloud пользователя;
отмечен ли участник «Семейного доступа» как младше 13 лет;
завершаете ли вы настройку «Экранного времени» на восстановленном устройстве;
включена ли функция «Учёт на всех устройствах»;
есть ли в учётной записи другие устройства с iOS 13+ / macOS 10.15+;
версия ОС и конфигурация «Экранного времени» в восстанавливаемой резервной копии;
установлено ли для Account changes значение Not alllowed в разделе «Контент и конфиденциальность».

В целом, если вы восстанавливаете устройство из резервной копии, не используете «Семейный доступ» и не включаете «Экранное время» заново, всё должно получиться.

Убедитесь, что у вас есть свежая зашифрованная резервная копия iPhone.
Прежде чем продолжить, выключите «Найти iPhone» в разделе Settings → [iCloud account name] → Find My → Find my iPhone
Подключите телефон к iTunes кабелем USB и нажмите «Восстановить iPhone…». iTunes загрузит последнюю версию прошивки для вашего телефона, затем сотрёт данные и обновит устройство. Очень важно, чтобы перед этим у вас была резервная копия.

Как вручную удалить код-пароль «Экранного времени» в iOS 12

В iOS 12 Apple хранит код-пароль «Экранного времени» в связке ключей пользователя. Он находится в части связки ключей, привязанной к конкретному устройству, поэтому не синхронизируется с другими устройствами Apple пользователя и недоступен через них. iPhone Backup Extractor делает восстановление этого код-пароля простым, но описать, как вручную расшифровать и извлечь связку ключей устройства, особенно сложно.

Тем, кто выбирает ручной путь, рекомендуем следовать советам для iOS 13 и восстановить резервную копию.

Как вручную удалить код-пароль ограничений в iOS 7‒11

В версиях iOS с 7 по 11 код-пароль ограничений хранится в резервных копиях в виде хеша, созданного алгоритмом PBKDF2. Его нужно расшифровать. Чтобы получить этот хеш, нужно извлечь файл com.apple.restrictionspassword.plist из резервной копии устройства. Файл можно найти (бесплатно) в «Expert mode» iPhone Backup Extractor по пути Home Domain → Library → Preferences либо вручную расшифровав необработанный файл 398bc9c2aeeab4cb0c12ada0f52eea12cf14f40b.

Когда файл у вас, найдите в нём следующие значения:

<key>RestrictionsPasswordKey</key>
<data>...</data>
<key>RestrictionsPasswordSalt</key>
<data>...</data>

Ключ и соль получают из код-пароля пользователя с помощью PBKDF2, и их относительно легко подобрать перебором. В этих версиях iOS код-пароль ограничений состоит всего из 4 цифр, так что нужно перебрать только 10 000 комбинаций.

Как вручную удалить код-пароль ограничений из резервной копии iOS 5‒6 (бесплатно)

Следуя этой инструкции, вы сбросите PIN-код ограничений на 1234 на iPad или iPhone. Если вы решили сбросить код-пароль этим способом, выполните следующие шаги:

Создайте резервную копию в iTunes при включённом код-пароле ограничений. Поскольку мы делаем всё вручную, это гораздо проще, если копия не зашифрована. (Лучше оставить копию зашифрованной и воспользоваться автоматическим способом, описанным выше.)
Перейдите в папку резервных копий по умолчанию (обычно C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\ в Windows или ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync в macOS). Откройте файл 662bc19b13aecef58a7e855d0316e4cf61e2642b в редакторе Plist из iPhone Backup Extractor. Выберите View / Edit Plist в меню File и укажите свой файл .plist.
Выполните в файле поиск и убедитесь, что в нём ещё нет строки с текстом <key>SBParentalControlsPIN</key>. Если такая строка есть, то строка под ней (она будет выглядеть примерно как <string>1234</string>) содержит PIN-код.
Если такой строки нет (в копиях iOS 5 и 6 её быть не должно), найдите строку <key>SBParentalControlsEnabled</key>. Под ней будет строка <true/>, которая означает, что родительский контроль включён. Если строки нет или в ней указано <false/>, родительский контроль не включён, и смена PIN-кода ничего не даст.

Редактирование plist с PIN-кодом ограничений

Если ключ SBParentalControlsEnabled имеет значение <true/>, нажмите «Edit» и добавьте две следующие строки прямо под строкой <true/>:
<key>SBParentalControlsPIN</key>
<string>1234</string>
Текст в файле должен выглядеть примерно так:
<key>SBParentalControlsEnabled</key>
<true/>
<key>SBParentalControlsPIN</key>
<string>1234</string>
...other lines...

Как должен выглядеть редактор Plist после вставки строк

Сохраните изменённый файл 662bc19b13aecef58a7e855d0316e4cf61e2642b, перезаписав старый.
С помощью генератора хешей SHA-1 получите ещё один хеш файла 662bc19b13aecef58a7e855d0316e4cf61e2642b и запишите его.
Сделайте резервную копию файла Manifest.mbdb, так как теперь мы будем редактировать его.
Откройте Manifest.mbdb в шестнадцатеричном редакторе, например HxD (бесплатный), или в TextPad в режиме hex.

Найдите исходный хеш SHA1, полученный на шаге 4 (поиск нужно вести в шестнадцатеричном режиме, а не в текстовом). Он выглядит как com.apple.springboard.plist или похожим образом — именно этот фрагмент вам и нужен.
Теперь самое сложное: нужно заменить старое шестнадцатеричное значение новым (полученным на шаге 10). В большинстве шестнадцатеричных редакторов это делается вводом нового значения поверх старого.
Например, вы можете увидеть что-то вроде: 72 64 2E 70 6C 69 73 74 FF FF 00 14 38 F1 2D 84 14 0D 32 E3 6E DF D7 62 3F D1 7A 10 11 66 14 70.
Допустим, вам нужно заменить шестнадцатеричное значение 38F12D84140D32E36EDF на 1234567890abcdef1234.
Сначала найдите начало старой шестнадцатеричной строки, а затем введите новый код поверх старого, чтобы получилось примерно следующее: 72 64 2E 70 6C 69 73 74 FF FF 00 14 12 34 56 78 90 AB CD EF 12 34 D7 62 3F D1 7A 10 11 66 14 70.
Сохраните изменённый файл Manifest.mbdb.
Восстановите резервную копию на iPhone с помощью iTunes. Если после редактирования вы не сохранили файлы Manifest.mbdb и 662bc19b13aecef58a7e855d0316e4cf61e2642b прямо в папке резервной копии, перед восстановлением замените их изменёнными версиями.
Когда телефон перезагрузится после восстановления, вы сможете использовать PIN-код 1234 для доступа к родительскому контролю. Получилось!

Почему Apple так усложняет сброс или отключение этого код-пароля и почему это нельзя сделать через iCloud?

Мы считаем, что так Apple учитывает пользователей, которые не настраивают «Семейный доступ» iCloud со своими детьми, а вместо этого дают им собственный iPhone с отдельной учётной записью iCloud. Поскольку зарегистрировать родителя отдельно в TouchID или FaceID нельзя, нужен дополнительный код, ведь у ребёнка есть полный доступ к его собственным настройкам iCloud.

Код-пароль вместо учётной записи iCloud удобен и тогда, когда эти ограничения массово применяются через MDM на множестве устройств, у которых, по сути, нет родителя, например на устройствах школы или компании. Он нужен не только для того, чтобы ограничивать доступ детей к устройству.

Если семья объединена через «Семейный доступ» iCloud, это было бы возможно. My mom set my phone up for screen time, but did it through her computer, and she can remember the password, I've backed up my phone and everything trying to find it and we can't, and I don't want to reset my whole phone.

@BEJI yes i have used this method with my iphone with iOS v9.3.3 However the plist file didn't have that line of code in it, even though my iphone asked for a passcode like others here have found. You simply add this following line in that com.apple.springboard.plist file: <key>SBParentalControlPIN</key> <string>1234</string> then save it and then restore it to your iphone from within the program you used to extract it. After this, the passcode pin will be 1234. BTW you can use your own 4 digits in the above code, just change the pin in the above code between the <string></string> tags to what ever you want it to be, then use that pin code after it has been added to the com.apple.springboard.plist file, saved and then restored to the iphone. The code is exactly the same as shown in the photo in the above instructions paragraph titled "Viewing the "SBParentalControlsPin" aka the "Restrictions Passcode""

Now when I'm resorting my iPhone from backed up file it asking me a password and I don't remember that. Hi, I use forensic software to examine mobile phones, and can recover the restrictionspassword.plist file with this software. I note that the passcode set for restrictions is not in clear text in this document - does it need to be decrypted? I know what it is as I set it as a test device, but it is not visible in this file. I would be happy to download your software if I can satisfy myself that it would be able to recover the passcode for 'restrictions'

For those of you on iOS 5.1.1 you can reset your 4-digit Restrictions passcode with very little effort if your device is jailbroke (no reason not to... check out Absinthe to do it). Get yourself a copy of iFile (available through Cydia) and you can do this right from the phone. No PC or other software required. From within iFile you just browse to /var/mobile/Library/Preferences and open com.apple.springboard.plist using the built in text viewer. Click the edit button to make changes, then add the following into a new line: <key>SBParentalControlsPIN</key> <string>1234</string> Save the file changes by selecting Done, then Respring the device. Voila! Your Restrictions passcode is now set to 1234.

Yes, that'd work if you're on a jailbroken iPhone or iPad. Most users aren't, though!

dear Andy (or who ever else might know); I completed all those steps and like an idiot, I didn't read the comments in advance- so no, it doesn't work, because I use software version 5.1. (and I don't have any older backupversions lying around in my pc that I am aware of) instead of just giving me the feckin pin already, it just tells me <key>SBParentalControlsEnabled</key> <bool>True</bool> Is there any new information you could provide me with? I would be loathe to lose all my data in a possibly futile attempt to retrieve this code.

Hi Mi! Instead of doing the patch manually, it might make your life easier if you use iPhone Backup Extractor to do it automatically for you. It'll save time and avoid the risk of a mistake.

this worked amazing i was up to nine failed attempts i was scared i would lock the phone for good and doing the steps took me a minute to figure out how to get the plist to open or save right but i got it thank you so much

Plz Help!! I have updated IOS 5. And have a restrictions code on the iPhone. I got to the com.apple.springboard.plist doc but I cannot find the SBParentalControlsPin in the springboard plist file after upgrading to iOS 5!! Plz help!! Is it not available any more? @Andy plz help you sound smart!!

Hmmm, I cannot find the SBParentalControlsPin in the springboard plist file after upgrading to iOS 5. It seems Apple have removed it for better security. Anybody have a clue on what to do then?

We've tested whether SBParentalControlsPin is still stored in com.apple.springboard.plist file on iOS 5 and found it still is -- if you had updated to iOS 5 then restored data from a previous backup (non-iOS 5). Once removed/re-added iOS 5 no longer stores the restrictions passcode in the com.apple.springboard.plist file. Remember that the SBParentalControlsPin is not present if the backup you are looking at had no SBParentalControlsPin enabled. Do not confuse this with the passcode to access your iPhone when locked. We have noticed during the iOS 5 update that the general Passcode becomes set to disabled and the Restriction Passcode is enabled in some instances. It's a bug in iOS 5, if you've added the Restriction Passcode in the past (even if turned off pre-update) it could turn on. We haven't confirmed this happens if you have never set your Restriction Passcode. You'll see we've updated iPhone Backup Extractor to support this newer version.

I am using 4.3.5 and followed the guide exactly and I only see <key> locked unlocked can anyone help

@Greg: the instructions will work on iOS 4.3.5, you should see your restrictions pin a few tags above the <locked-unlocked> tags as something like: <key>SBParentalControlsPIN</key> <string>1093</string> Unless you haven't added a restrictions PIN and you are referring to the phone PIN. That's different, and isn't not available to view in the same way.

Worked a charm. It took me a while though to figure it all out, here are some thoughts: You don't need to connect your device to the computer, the program searches and uses your computer's iphone/ipod/ipad backup folder. You don't necessarily need the computer which you normally sync your iPhone/iPod with. Any one with iTunes will do, although you'll have to back up your device to this "new" computer first (just connect it, open iTunes, right click, backup - You won't lose any data) Do the above if you don't see your iPhone on the list in the Extractor Program. You need to have a backup present on this computer, that's what the Extractor Program searches. There are multiple springboard files though, so for those like me who couldn't find it first time, I followed this path: Select your Iphone/Ipod Choose Expert Mode Expand the Library folder Expand the Preferences SubFolder Tickbox the com.apple.springboard.plist Extract to the Desktop (for convenience) Follow the rest of the instructions in the article (Go to the IPBE program again, and now click file, locate the springboard plist file. I had trouble locating it till I realised that it actually lived in the freshly appearing "library" folder on the desktop) View the file, it's near the bottom Great guide, no downloads, no nothing needed, plain and simple.

Tried this, worked BRILLIANTLY. For some reason when I saved it in desktop, the plist wouldnt open, just went to system32. After saving to my documents, tried again, the list came up and there was my code. Thank you. Really, thank you. You've saved me a restore.
