- Feature Emoji hands are now available under the AR menu for all cameras. Give it a shot! ✌️
- Feature Camo Studio is now available for ARM-based Windows devices on the Microsoft Store: This includes all our standout video features like segmentation, filters and scenes.
- Feature You can now edit all of Camo’s image adjustment values by clicking on them – In case you need to dial in your temperature just right!
- Improvement We’ve changed video players for our Help guides! Videos should load faster and you can now adjust playback speed.
- Improvement As a treat, we’re now including the open-source Inter font, which you can use in your Scenes out of the box. Additionally, we’ll now warn you if the Scene you’re using relies on fonts not installed on your computer.
- Improvement Importing images into your Scenes should now respect their rotation EXIF metadata.
- Fix We’ve fixed various issues in the Scene editor, including a missing font weight for text elements.
- Fix The panning tool should now handle any video orientation you throw at it.
- Fix We’ve fixed an issue where image stretching could be incorrect in Scenes imported from the macOS version of Camo Studio.
- Fix Some spinning rings were loitering around in the preview zoom menu… We told them to pack up and leave.

Today’s update brings some UI improvements, support for certain features on older hardware and an updated Getting Started experience. We’ve also updated some of the technology we use to build the app, which means ending updates for macOS 10.13 and 10.14. Camo Studio 2.0.5 will continue to work on those versions. - Feature Meet the new onboarding experience with our new Getting Started tutorial.
- Feature Unsupported hardware mode. This allows the use of features like 4K resolutions on older phones and ML effects on Intel Macs (there may be performance issues with this enabled). You can enable it in Camo Studio preferences.
- Feature Devices that have been paired for wireless connection appear in the devices dropdown and are available for a quick connection.
- Improvement We've tuned some UI parts of the Camo Studio window to make it more beautiful.
- Improvement In macOS 14.1 Apple removed support for DAL plugins, which some apps use to provide video to apps like Camo Studio. If Camo detects a DAL plugin it will let you know why it’s missing.
- Fix The zoom feature works correctly now with Studio Display with its recent firmware update.

- Feature Unsupported hardware mode. This allows the use of features like 4k resolutions on older devices (you may experience performance issues with this enabled). To enable this you'll need macOS Camo Studio 2.1.0 or Windows Camo Studio 2.1.4 which will be available soon.

- Feature Overlays have become Scenes! You can now set image and text variables to easily apply your brand everywhere. We have included a few built-in variables you can tweak and instantly use in our included Templates.
- Improvement Camo will now automatically scan for paired wireless devices when you open the device list.
- Improvement Virtual Cameras installed on your PC are now shown on their own section in the device list, making them easier to spot.
- Fix We’ve fixed an issue where images in Overlays/Scenes could be rendered at a lower quality.
- Fix Camo Studio should no longer pause automatically if you’re only using its audio output.
- Fix We’ve fixed an issue where pausing could work incorrectly when putting your PC in Sleep mode.
- Fix The pan tool has been given a fine for exceeding the speed limit and should now be easier to use when framing your video.

- Feature: You can now switch between scenes of different aspect ratios while streaming or recording, Studio will automatically adjust the scene to match the aspect ratio of your current stream or recording.

- Feature You can now record video files with Camo! Use the new recording controls on the top-right side of the window to get filming.
- Feature Camo now supports microphones! Use audio from any microphone connected to your PC in Camo Studio. We've also added an audio delay setting to fix rare issues where audio and video are out of sync, which can be enabled in the Advanced tab of the app settings.
- Improvement If you’re using a NVIDIA GPU, portrait effects should be more efficient.
- Fix We’ve restrained our notification panel so it doesn’t expand infinitely if you have lots of notifications queued up.
- Fix We've fixed an issue where overlays imported from macOS could have their elements ordered backwards.
- Fix The Camo Studio Fluent UI should now show up properly in VMWare virtual machines.
- Fix Some UI elements were not appearing as disabled in some cases – Shouldn’t happen now!
- Fix We've fixed an issue which could happen if you imported custom backgrounds to Camo Studio and then removed the imported images from your PC.
